PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep groove ball bearing for avoiding the concentration of stress on the bottom faces of pocket portions of a crowned cage due to the radial and axial vibration of the crowned cage resulting from the vibration of the bearing during high speed rotation. SOLUTION: The deep groove ball bearing 10 comprises an inner ring 11 having a raceway groove 11a, an outer ring 12 having a raceway groove 12a, a plurality of balls 13 rollingly laid between both raceway grooves 11a, 12a, and the crowned cage 14 for holding the plurality of balls 13 at equal spaces in the circumferential direction. The crowned cage 14 is guided by the outer ring 12, and it is also guided by a shield portion 18 extending to the radial direction of the outer ring 12 in the state of being mounted at the axial end of the outer ring 12.
