PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge ventilator capable of securing a sufficiently wide ventilation passage enough for providing a ventilation performance by establishing relative relations among dimension or the like of components such as ventilation members and flashing members and surely preventing the rain and snow from intruding into an attic or the like during strong wind. SOLUTION: This ridge ventilator comprises a pair of ventilation members 1, 2, a chevron-shaped top board 3 for securing the upper surfaces of the ventilation members to both ends, and flashing members 4, 5 secured to the lower surfaces of the ventilation members. An outer drain 7 is formed in the top board 3. Baffle plates 10 and inner drains 11 are formed in each flashing member. The height of the baffle plate is set equal to or slightly higher than that of the ventilation members. The lower end of the outer drain is set on or slightly lower than a first reference line L1 connecting the upper ends of two baffle plates to each other. The upper end of the inner drain is set on or slightly upper than a second reference line L2 extending parallel with the bottom surface of the flashing members and passing through the lower end of the outer drain.
