A slide-type mobile terminal having side members capable of slope adjustment is provided to minimize the space of a slide rotary member by enabling slide members, which can automatically adjust the angle of sliding, to be operated at the side of a cover. A slide-type mobile terminal comprises a pinion(25), a rack, and a side angle adjustment member(100). The pinion(25) or the first side slide member is connected to an actuator arranged at the side of a main body(20). The rack, or the second side slide member, coupled with the pinion(25), is arranged at the side of a cover part(10) so as to slide the cover part(10) and the main body(20) in a straight direction. The side angle adjustment member(100) has a rotary member(160) which can be coupled to a side of the cover part(100). The side angle adjustment member(100) comprises a receiving space(125). The receiving space(125), which is able to contain the pinion(25), has an auxiliary slide member, or an auxiliary rack(115), so as to be connected to the rack. As the angle of sliding at the cover part(100) is adjusted by the rotary member(160), the cover part(100) is inclined or level with the main body(200) so that the pinion(25) can be slid into the receiving space(125).
