<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive porous ceramic, by which the dispersibility of a titanium silicide TiSi<SB>2</SB>powder in a film-forming raw material solution can be improved even in the case that the titanium silicide TiSi<SB>2</SB>powder being added into the film-forming raw material solution and having a large average particle diameter is used or the titanium silicide powder is filled at high concentration, and the handling strength of the obtained conductive porous ceramic, especially a hollow fiber membrane-like conductive porous ceramic is further improved. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive porous ceramic essentially composed of titanium silicide TiSi<SB>2</SB>is manufactured by forming a composite film from a film-forming raw material solution, obtained by highly filling titanium silicide TiSi<SB>2</SB>powder in an organic solvent solution of a polymer substance and a basic polymer-type dispersant, and firing the obtained composite film under such a condition that the composite film is fired in vacuum or in an inert atmosphere within a heating temperature range of ≥400°C.
