PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing unit capable of reliably preventing the erroneous insertion of a disk-like recording medium to a gap between a movable support member for rotatably supporting a display panel unit and an equipment body regardless of the rising angle of the display panel unit. SOLUTION: In the information reproducing unit, the display panel unit 20 stored in a storage casing advances from the storage casing following the advancing of the movable support member 30 arranged with a gap at the upper portion of an equipment unit 10 and further is raised by rotation. The information reproducing unit comprises stopper members 42a, 43a that are fixed on the lower surface of the movable support member 30 and project from the lower surface; and a guide member 50 that is provided on the upper surface of the equipment unit 10, and guides a disk D inserted into a gap S between the movable support member 30 for supporting the raised display panel unit 20 and the equipment unit 10 toward the stopper members 42a, 43a.
