TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE DEVELOPMENT, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic image development which prevents contamination inside a machine and generation of fog on a white background portion due to scattering of weakly charged toner. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic image development contains at least a binder resin and a colorant and is formed inside an aqueous medium, wherein the colorant dispersed in the binder resin has a Feret's average horizontal diameter in the range of 0.05-1.0μm and the content of colorant particles having a Feret's horizontal diameter in the range of 1.0-3.9μm is 0.1-4.0% in number.
