摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion sensor capable of simply and economically measuring the concentration of ions without using a large-sized device in daily environment monitoring, the control of factory wastewater, etc., and an ion detection method. SOLUTION: Mesoporous silica of which the BET method specific surface area calculated by a nitrogen adsorbing method is≥600 m<SP>2</SP>/g and the center axis pore diameter calculated by a BJH method is≥3 nm is used as the skeletal material of the ion sensor and a coloring matter molecule is held to and compounded with this mesoporous silica to constitute the ion sensor.
