PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure sensor 30 in which water hardly intrudes to a communication passage 36 communicating with a sensor portion 18a of an air pressure sensor element 18 and water that has intruded to the communication passage 36 is discharged to the outside of a case 32. SOLUTION: Two air holes 34, 34 are bored on an apex part of the case 32 of the tire air pressure sensor 30 arranged/fixed to a wheel 10 while a position is deviated in a rotation direction of the wheel 10, and an opening of a ventilation hole 16 is provided on a cap 38 covering the air pressure sensor element 18 arranged in the case at an intermediate position of the two air holes 34, 34 in a rotation direction. The two air holes 34, 34 and the opening of the communication hole 16 are communicated by the communication passage on an approximately flat surface perpendicular to a radial direction of the wheel 10 between the apex part of the case 32 and the cap 38. Further, it is constituted such that the communication passage 36 becomes in the winding state by providing a wall 40 between the air holes 34, 34 and the opening of the ventilation hole 16.
