<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag label making apparatus which can perform a label making operation efficiently while preventing the occurrence of turbulence of printing on the label surface beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: The label making apparatus comprises a loop antenna LC for performing the transmission and reception of information between a printing head 23 for making a print on a cover film 103 and radio tag circuit elements To, a driving roller 51 for conveying a tape 109 for tag labels already printed, and a control circuit 110 which judges whether the transmission and reception of information has been successfully performed or not while controlling the movements of the driving roller 51, loop antenna LC and printing head 23 jointly so that the transmission and reception of information may be performed with the loop antenna LC without stopping the conveying operation of the driving roller 51 and determines the conveying stop conditions for stopping the conveying operation of the driving roller 51 based on the conveyance conditions for transmission and reception and the conveyance conditions for printing. The control circuit 110 performs the controlling so as to stop the conveying operation of the driving roller 51 based on the conveying stop conditions and retry the transmission and reception of information when the transmission and reception of information has been judged to be unsuccessful. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
