CONTROL OF HYDROGEN EXHAUST DESORPTION OVER WHOLE ACTION OF FUEL CELL STACK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system of limiting a volume of hydrogen bled from an anode exhaust line.

SOLUTION: The method contains maintenance of pressure bias between anode exhaust and cathode exhaust of a fuel cell stack so as to keep hydrogen density in a mixture gas at a level lower than a given percentage in case the anode exhaust gas is bled from the anode exhaust line and mixed with cathode exhaust gas. The pressure bias is such that the anode exhaust gas has a gas pressure higher than that of the cathode exhaust gas.
