PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and to ensure security. SOLUTION: In a web mail system 1, mail IDs, each of which is used for uniquely identifying each of all the mails stored in a mail box, are received from a web server 10, mail IDs of mails matching a scrolled position in a window for all the mails are transmitted to the web server 10 for requesting list information to be used for displaying a list of the mails, the list information as to the mails matching the request mail IDs is received from the web server 10 to be stored in a prescribed list information storage part 25b, and based on the list information stored in the list information storage part 25b, a list to be displayed actually inside the window is generated to be outputted to the window.
