PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device accomplishing enhancement of steering accuracy while allowing it to be a multiple system. SOLUTION: The steering device is provided with first and second actuators 5, 6 for giving steering torque, and the first actuator 5 and the second actuator 6 are mechanically connected by a connection means 19 in the play-giving state. Since the first and second actuators 5, 6 are connected with the play, interference of the steering torque of the first actuator and the steering torque of the second actuator 6 is prevented. Further, the second actuator 6 is arranged in a downstream side than the first actuator 5 in a steering force transmission route and the steering torque of the second actuator is made smaller than the steering torque of the first actuator 5. A small steering angle can be controlled by the second actuator 6 at high accuracy and the steering accuracy can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
