PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise durability of a sensor base plate without impairing its positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: A DC brushless motor is constituted in such a manner that the sensor base plate 30 is indirectly positioned to a rotor 11 in a direction of a tool length, by fitting a projection/recess of a motor housing 25 to a recess/projection of an insulator 22 of a stator 20.
