PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket type excavator which measures the excavating attitude of an excavating bucket in an excavated ditch in a short period of time to quickly correct the excavating attitude into a vertical attitude. SOLUTION: The bucket type excavator is constituted such that a guide body is longitudinally tilted, based on longitudinal tilting angle information transmitted from an inclinometer, and that right and left guide plates are projected with different projecting amounts from the guide body, based on side-direction tilting angle information transmitted from the inclinometer.
