PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation construction method for dispensing with construction of a foundation part of a building by a solid foundation to cope with partially soft ground when constructing the foundation part of the building to prevent uneven settlement of the building. SOLUTION: In the uneven settlement prevention construction method by a steel plate footing system, a steel plate being larger than a bottom face at the outer periphery of a pressure-resistant foundation is laid in a lower part of the pressure-resistant foundation of the building when constructing the building.
