CURABLE TERMITE-CONTROLLING COMPOSITION AND TERMITE-CONTROLLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable termite-controlling composition which has an excellent termite-controlling effect, can form a homogeneous layer having a small thickness when cured and has good coatability; and a termite-controlling method using the composition. SOLUTION: The curable termite-controlling composition of the invention comprises a hydraulic component, a soil component and a termite-controlling agent (e.g., chlothianidin) as an optional component, wherein a soil component having a particle diameter of 1.5 mm or smaller comprises 95 wt.% or more based on the total amount of the soil component. The termite-control method of the invention comprises a kneading step in which the curable termite-controlling composition and water are kneaded together, and a coating step in which mortar obtained by the kneading step is coated on a foundation part and/or a wood part of a building.
