An ink composition is provided to ensure low bubbling property, high flowability, stable initial ejection quality and little spreadability, thereby imparting high printing quality in a wet imaging device. An ink composition comprises a colorant, a solvent, a surfactant and a defoaming agent, wherein the defoaming agent is represented by the formula of R1-X-(CH2CH2O)m-(CHCH3CH2O)n-R2, wherein X is selected from the group consisting of COO, O, S, R3-N and R4(R5)-C; each of R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 is independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or non-substituted alkyl, substituted or non-substituted cycloalkyl, substituted or non-substituted alkenyl, substituted or non-substituted aryl and substituted or non-substituted aralkyl; m is an integer of 0-100; and n is an integer of 1-100.
