PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cost effectiveness for an advertiser by providing the optimal retrieval result and the optimal advertisement information under the consideration of user attributes, retrieval date and retrieval place or the like in an information retrieval system for retrieving event information.

SOLUTION: A retrieval device 2 is provided with a recording means 7 for recording user attribute information and a plurality of event information and a plurality of advertisement information acquired through a communication network 50; an event information retrieval means 6a for retrieving event information based on retrieval conditions and the user attribute information from among the plurality of event information recorded in the recording means 7, and for outputting an event information list D2 configured of one or more event information; and an advertisement selection means 6b for selecting a plurality of event relevant advertisements based on the event information list D2 and the user attribute information from among the plurality of advertisement information recorded in the recording means 7, and for outputting an advertisement information list D3 configured of the plurality of event relevant advertisements.
