<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method to achieve high efficiency as an induction heating device when respective inverters supply different output powers in the induction heating device in which a plurality of inverters are connected to rear stages of a chopper. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating device comprises a rectifier 2 connected to an AC power supply 1, a chopper 3 connected to a DC output end of the rectifier, a plurality of inverters 4, 6 connected in parallel to the chopper output, and heating coils 5, 7 connected to each inverter, and heats a heating object by passing a high-frequency current to the heating coils. The chopper output voltage is determined so that the conversion efficiency of the inverter which generates the maximum power may be maximum out of the plurality of inverters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
