摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect motor disconnection without causing cost increase and enlargement in size, and without turning on and off switching elements, in a failure determination device of an electric motor drive circuit. <P>SOLUTION: In the failure determination device of the electric motor drive circuit, one terminal of an electric motor 31a is connected to a battery power source 51 via a first resistor 61, the other terminal of the motor 31a is connected to ground 52 via a second resistor 62, and the one terminal of the motor 31a is connected to a microprocessor 41 via a voltage detection circuit 44 for detecting a voltage of the terminal. When the voltage of the monitored terminal is a first intermediate voltage value V1, the motor 31a is determined to be normal.
