<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for editing default graphic objects for a man-machine interface. <P>SOLUTION: An editor connected to a man-machine interface device 1 and comprising a graphic object editor 2, a graphic object database 3 and a PC screen editor 4 is installed so that a user can create new graphic objects by self-defining them or by correcting existing graphical objects as necessary according to the graphic and the attribute tool of the graphic object editor 2. Also, the new graphic objects are stored in the graphic object database 3. Also, the graphic objects self-defined or corrected are obtained from the graphic object database 3 by use of the screen editor 4 and screen is edited.
