PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict service life of a hydraulic pump or a hydraulic motor accurately and automatically. SOLUTION: A load T applied on the hydraulic pump or the hydraulic motor is sequentially (Δt) measured until fixed timeτelapses, and service life (ranks S, A, B, C) of bearing parts constituting the hydraulic pump or the hydraulic motor is computed based on the load value T measured sequentially. Temperature Rt of pressure oil to be discharged of the hydraulic pump or hydraulic fluid of the hydraulic motor is sequentially measured until the fixed timeτelapses, and service lives (ranks S, A, B, C) of hydraulic seal parts constituting the hydraulic pump or the hydraulic motor are computed based on the temperature value Rt measured sequentially.
