PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat radiation efficiency of a deflector and to suppress deterioration in assemblability, optical characteristics and maintainability. SOLUTION: A through-hole 56 is provided on the bottom face 50A of the housing 50 of an optical scanner 10, and a heat radiation plate 58 is fixed by screws on the outside of the bottom face 50A so as to block the through-hole 56. The heat radiation plate 58 is formed of a member having a heat conductivity larger than that of the housing 50, and is fixed by screws also on the frame 54 of the main body 11 of the scanner. Further, the deflector 32 is fixed by screws on the inner periphery side of the through-hole 56 on the face on the side of the housing 50 of the heat radiation plate 58. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
