The device (1) has two exhaust gas line-pipe sections (4, 5) for supplying an exhaust gas to respective exhaust gas inlet sides of two exhaust gas after-treatment units (2, 3). Two releasing units (9, 10) release aggregates e.g. liquid reagent, into respective exhaust gas line-pipe sections. The pipe sections run with a small distance to the respective exhaust gas after-treatment units or close to the exhaust gas after-treatment units along the exhaust gas after-treatment units. The exhaust gas line-pipe sections and the after-treatment units are arranged in a common housing.
