<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system in which hydrogen utilization efficiency is improved by suppressing a hydrogen gas amount to be exhausted together with an impurity gas separated from an anode off-gas. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a gas retaining container 410 to form a retaining space 4101 to retain the anode off-gas, an anode off-gas conduit 400 to introduce the anode off-gas into the gas retaining container 410, an impurity material gas conduit 402 to derive the impurity gas separated from the anode off-gas by difference in specific gravity from that of hydrogen from the gas retaining container 410, an exhaust valve 420 to adjust a derivation amount of the impurity material gas, and an orifice part 4104 to narrow a cross sectional area of the retaining space 4101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
