WRITE-ONCE MULTILAYER OPTICAL DISK, RECORDING METHOD, REPRODUCING METHOD, AND RECORDING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing of a write-once multilayer optical disk of higher quality.

SOLUTION: The write-once multilayer optical disk includes a plurality of recording layers in which recording or reproducing is performed by blue or violet-blue laser with a wavelength of about 405 nm, wherein each of the recording layers includes a recording film using an organic dye. The plurality of recording layers may include both of a layer (Fig. 8a) in which a groove pattern at the periphery of the recording mark deforms when information is recorded and a layer (Fig. 8b) in which a groove pattern at the periphery of the recording mark is not deformed.
