<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a two dimensional code adaptable to image readers different in reading size. <P>SOLUTION: First information including document ID for identifying a document and second information including the other information relating to the document are individually converted into an error correction code, and the first code data equivalent to the first information and the second code data equivalent to the second information can be generated. Then, a two-dimensional code is generated.
