<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power window device which can shorten a time period necessary for a window glass to reach a fully closed position. <P>SOLUTION: In operation of the power window device, a current flowing in a motor when a maximum value (allowable maximum load) ΔTac of a load allowed to be applied to an object pinched by the window glass during closing operation of the same, is applied to the object, is defined as an allowable maximum current. For example, during application of a load current Ia to the motor, if an object is pinched by the window glass and the load ΔTac is applied to the object, the allowable maximum current is set to a value Ic. On the other hand, pinching of an object by the window glass is not detected, a controller supplies a power larger than a power at which a motor stalling current is equal to the allowable maximum current, to the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
