PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining tool inspecting device which precisely inspects the outside shape of the machining tool even if foreign articles such as chips and machine oil is attached to the machining tool. SOLUTION: The machining tool inspecting device comprises: shooting means 301, 302 shooting a tip end part of a drill and outputting an image signal; and an image processing means 350 producing and processing a binary image data according to the image signal. The image processing means 350 comprises: detecting means S3 to S6 detecting image edge points; means S7, S9 removing the image edge points estimated to be except for the image edge points corresponding to the outline of the drill from the plurality of the image edge points; means S8, S10 deciding a virtual frame indicating the outline of the drill according to the image edge points remaining after removing; and means S12, S13 producing the outside shape information of the drill on the basis of a part in an area estimated to be an area in the drill by the virtual frame of the binary image data.
