The contact holder (2) has housing (3). The contact holder is inserted by a transverse movement into the housing and secured in the housing against a twist. The outer surface of the contact holder has a non rotationally symmetric contour in cross sectional plane, which grips in a complementary contour at an inner surface of the housing for an anti-twist stop during insertion into the housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing a rear connecting space of a plug connector.
