<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a light emitting unit, an apparatus for molding a lens of the light emitting unit, and a light emitting device package, which are all capable of achieving an enhancement in light extraction efficiency and an improvement in mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting unit manufacturing apparatus comprises a mold 100 including a first mold 110 and a second mold 120 coupled to each other under a condition in which at least one light emitting unit 200 is interposed between the first and second molds, a groove 121 having a lens shape and formed in one of the first mold 110 and the second mold 120 at a position facing the light emitting unit, and a passage 122 extending from an outer surface of the mold to the groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
