PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specifically indicate that an audio thumbnail image represents audio data when an editing device for editing, for example, video and audio displays a video thumbnail image and the audio thumbnail image made to correspond to video data and the audio data. SOLUTION: The audio thumbnail image made to correspond to the audio data is generated from multi-colored image data including pixel data of at least two or more colors. Consequently, it can specifically be indicated that the thumbnail image made to correspond to the audio data represents the audio data and then the audio thumbnail image is effectively prevented from being mixed up with the video thumbnail image which has been generated hitherto when data have been displayed with entire black images etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
