<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which is free from stress corrosion cracking occurring at parts formed by twisting austenitic stainless wires with a wire diameter of 0.2 mm or smaller when the endoscope is subjected to repeated autoclave treatment and is reliably subjected to sterilizing treatment by an autoclave after endoscopic examinations. <P>SOLUTION: The stainless wire twisted parts 6, 11 for the endoscope are formed by twisting the austenitic stainless wires with the wire diameter of 0.2 mm or smaller to be used as parts constituting the endoscope. For the stainless wire twisted parts with residual stresses which are accumulated in the respective wires 6a, 11a constituting the stainless wire twisted parts 6, 11 and increase during the processing to twist a plurality of wires 6a, 11a, residual stress removing thermal treatment for removing a part of the residual stresses accumulated in respective wires 6a, 11a is performed on the parts formed into a shape of the stainless wire twisted parts 6, 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
