PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving intention estimating device capable of suppressing deterioration in accuracy for estimating driving intention even when a driver performs decelerating operation due to effect of an obstacle ahead of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The driving intention estimating device for estimating the driving intention using an artificial intelligence system includes a decision means to decide if the decelerating operation by the driver is performed due to the effect of the obstacle ahead of the vehicle (S002, S003), a correction means to correct parameter with respect to anteroposterior acceleration of the vehicle corresponding to the decelerating operation by the driver when the decelerating operation by the driver is performed due to the effect of the obstacle ahead of the vehicle (S004), and a prediction means to estimate the driving intention based on a parameter with respect to the corrected anteroposterior acceleration of the vehicle.
