PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit protector which can protect circuit components from a large current generated when a required output voltage is created using a low input voltage of substandard while using circuit components as usual. SOLUTION: The circuit protector comprises a switching power supply section 6 for generating a stabilized DC power as a drive power source using AC power, a section 5 for detecting whether the voltage of AC power is lower than a threshold or not, and a section 10 for controlling generation of DC power from AC power to stop.
