PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for fixing a support wire of a spiral cable hanger capable of fixing the spiral cable hanger on the support wire of a self-supporting cable. SOLUTION: This metal fitting is structured with a pair of gripping pieces 1, 2 that grip the support wire Ca at the lower end by tightening a bolt 4 and a nut 5, and that are mounted on the support wire Ca; and a tightening piece 3 that grips the spiral cable hanger h with one of the gripping piece 2, by passing through the bolt 4 to the outside of the gripping piece 2. Furthermore, a cutout 12 engages the cable hanger h that is inserted between the tightening piece 3 and the gripping piece 2, and is provided on the top end of the tightening piece 3.
