PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the adhesion to a detection part by a simple constitution in a liquid concentration measuring instrument. SOLUTION: The liquid concentration measuring instrument includes a detection part 1 provided with the emission part 28 arranged in piping 2 through which a fluid 3 to be measured to irradiate the fluid 3 to be measured and a light detection part 30 which the scattered light reflected from the solid substance or the like contained in the fluid 3 to be measured enters. The detection part 1 is formed into a planar or protruded surface like shape, turned to the upstream side in the flow direction F of the fluid 3 to be measured and inclined with respect to the flow direction F of the fluid 3 to be measured.
