PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow the width of vertical members to reduce cost and to improve heat insulating property while ensuring ventilation spaces by dividing horizontal furring strips in the lateral direction of a wall in an external wall panel formed by mounting the horizontal furring strips for fixing an external wall material, to the vertical members. SOLUTION: In the external wall panel 10, the horizontal furring strips 30 are divided in the lateral direction of the wall, and the mutually close ends of the divided horizontal furring strips 30 are supported to the vertical member 11 in a state of overlapping each other by the approximately width K portion of the vertical member 11 in the lateral direction of the wall through constant ventilation spaces A in the vertical direction of the wall.
