PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer material exhibiting a temperature change in a surface of a part irradiated with light in response to irradiation with the light such as ultraviolet light or visible light or heating. SOLUTION: The photo-responsive polymer material comprises a photochromic compound in a polymer substance. The surface generates heat when irradiated with the ultraviolet light at 280-400 nm wavelength and absorbs heat when irradiated with the visible light at 400-780 nm wavelength or heated at 30-80°C from the state of the heat-generating surface.
