PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying mechanism capable of removing water droplets remaining in the nip parts of a pair of conveying rollers on the downstream side of a fixing part used for double-sided printing by a simple structure and an image forming device equipped with the paper conveying mechanism. SOLUTION: This paper conveying mechanism comprises a paper feed rollers 18, a first pinch roller 19a and a second pinch roller 19b pressed against the paper feed roller 18 at different contacts and driven rotatingly, a paper conveying path 22, and a double-sided recording path 26. The paper feed roller 18 and a first pitch roller 19a form the pair of conveying rollers 20. The paper feed roller 18 and a second pinch roller 19b form the pair of second conveying rollers 21.
