PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member fitting tool which improves productivity by eliminating a position adjusting operation of a holding member and is simply operated by anybody. SOLUTION: The member fitting tool is equipped with: an assembly body holding mechanism 13 for holding the assembly body by a holding member 18 provided on guides 14, 15; and a fitting target holding mechanism 23 for holding the fitting target of the assembly body. The assembly body and the fitting target are fitted by relatively moving the assembly body fitting mechanism and the fitting target holding mechanism. When the assembly body and the fitting target are fitted by relatively moving the assembly body holding mechanism and the fitting target holding mechanism while keeping a predetermined position by an elastic force of an elastic body 22, the holding member is composed so that the fitting target or the fitting target holding mechanism moves the holding member along a guide against the elastic force of the elastic member.
