METHOD AND SYSTEM CONTROL OF FEEDBACK IN MU-MIMO

A method and a system of controlling feedback in MU-MIMO(Multi-User Multiple-Input Multi-Output) are provided to increase the number of users competing per a stream as decreasing a feedback amount of channel information to maximize a multi user diversity gain, thereby improving the performance of the whole system. A method of controlling feedback in MU-MIMO(Multi-User Multiple-Input Multi-Output) includes the steps of: receiving pre-coding information from a base station according to a predetermined circulation order; calculating a feedback control factor for the pre-coding information; and giving feedback by the quantization into bit resolution only when the feedback control factor is included in a pre-set ratio. The pre-coding information in the receiving step is unitary pre-coding matrixes. The feedback control factor in the calculating step is the sum-rate of SINRs(Signal to Noise Ration) by streams.
