IMPROVED COMPUTERIZED COLLABORATIVE WORK

摘要

An improved collaborative computer work is provided to enable a few users to perform the collaborative computer work for an object, which is stored in a central database, in each local computer environment connected to the common computer network. A first computer selects one data type of a first object. Data of each type includes display data of the first object. The first computer provides the first object data corresponding to the selected data type to the second computer by transmitting information for network path information to the second computer and enabling the second computer to download a part of the first object data corresponding to the selected data type based on a network path. The first object is displayed in an authoring environment of the second computer by using the downloaded data.
