A LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce brightness variation by driving data lines in a dot inversion mode and prevent flickering during window shutdown by changing a pixel structure so that a screen can be displayed in a two-dot inversion mode. An LCD includes plural data lines(DL1~DLn), a data driving unit(DD), and a pixel group(PG1~PGm). The data lines are arranged in a line. The data driving unit supplies a data signal to the data lines in a dot inversion mode. The gate lines are arranged to cross the data lines. The pixel group is alternately positioned with the data lines and includes plural pixels(PXL) arranged along the gate lines. Pixels within each pixel group are positioned in the each data line. Each pixel included in a 4k+1 pixel group and each pixel included in a 4k+3 pixel group is connected to a data line positioned in a side of each of the pixel group. Each pixel included in a 4k+2 pixel group and each pixel included in a 4k+3 pixel group are connected to a data line positioned in the other side of each of the pixel group.
