FIELD: oil production, particularly sucker rod and rod coupling connections, particularly protective and safety devices for sucker-rod well pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises spherical finger, coupling put on the finger, subs to be connected to sucker rods and joined along spherical surface. Threaded lock nut with conical surface mating spherical coupling surface is installed between coupling and upper sub. Thrust split ring adapted to secure lock nut on spherical finger is installed inside lock nut. Extension or depression having hexahedral or another shape is formed at lower end of spherical finger. The extension or depression is adapted for spherical finger fixation during assemblage. Threaded connections of spherical finger and coupling with upper and lower subs are additionally retained with fastening screws. ^ EFFECT: decreased bending and torque loads, prevention of unauthorized sucker rod unscrewing, decreased pressure applied by rod string in flow string wall, reduced flow string and sucker rod wear. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
