APPARATUS FOR METAL CONTINUOUS CASTING AND DEFORMING

FIELD: metallurgy, namely metal continuous casting and further deforming of it to shaped blank with predetermined cross section. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes built-up mold with opening in upper part and with paired lateral and horizontal working walls. Each lateral working wall has portions inclined relative to horizontal axis and it is mounted in two drive eccentric parallel vertical shafts. Each horizontal working wall is mounted in one of said shafts with possibility of reciprocation with phase shift towards pair of lateral working walls. Horizontal walls of mold are driven to motion by means of tie rods made integrally with bodies of horizontal wall and supporting through rolling bearing assemblies onto respective eccentrics of drive shafts. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of wall drive mechanism fixing position of horizontal walls of mold in four points and providing skewing free motion of them and uniform load of all four shafts. ^ 2 dwg
