<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-axis vibrating gyroscope, facilitating mass adjustment and balance adjustment using a simple structure and that does not require extremely high-precision working. <P>SOLUTION: In the vibration gyroscope 1, having a total of 6 legs in which vibration legs 3 of tripods, each comprising central leg 4 juxtaposed in a plate width direction and outer legs 5, 6 at both sides thereof are arranged symmetric, with respect to a plate face direction around a body part 2 as a center where a plate face thickness direction abutting against front and back directions of the body part 2, the plate face height direction and abutting against the vertical directions of the body part 2, and the plate face width direction abutting against the horizontal directions of the body part 2 are set, the vibrating gyroscope includes drive electrodes 7, 8 for exciting vibration in the plate face width direction at the outer legs 5, 6 and detection electrodes 9, 10 for detecting vibration in the plate face thickness direction, and further, includes a detection electrode 11 for detecting vibration in the plate face width direction at the center leg 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
