<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain neutralization device constituted so that its neutralization container is not locally heated and the neutralization container of a drain water storage region can be uniformly heated even if an antifreezing heater has a small area. <P>SOLUTION: The heater 6 is provided so as to be brought into contact with a heat conductive medium 5 having an area larger than that of the heater 6 and the heat conductive medium 5 is arranged to the neutralization container 3 in a contact state. Since the neutralization container 3 is indirectly heated through the heat conductive medium 5 when the heater 6 produces heat, the neutralization container 3 is uniformly heated over a wide range by the heater 6 without being locally heated. Further, the heat conductive medium 5 is set to the size matched with the drain water storage region in the neutralization container 3 and arranged in contact with the neutralization container 3 in opposed relation to the drain water storage region. By this constitution, the drain water A stored in the neutralization container 3 can be uniformly heated as a whole. Further, the heat conductive medium 5 is attached to an outer case 4 which houses the neutralization container 3.
