摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer fuel cell capable of securing compactness and reliability while maintaining a humidified state of an electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: By installing a first reaction gas flow passage 2 and a second reaction gas flow passage 3 on the surface of a separator 1, the solid polymer fuel cell is constituted so that the reaction gas supplied to both reaction gas flow passages will form counterflows adjacent to each other on the separator surface in the same pole. By arranging and installing humidified regions 10a, 10b made of a porous body at inlet parts 5a, 5b of the first reaction gas flow passage 2 and the second gas flow passage 3 while arranging and installing the humidified regions 10a, 10b made of the porous body at outlet parts 6a, 6b, the solid polymer fuel cell is constituted so that the humidified region 10a and a moisture absorbing region 11 will come into contact with each other, and moreover, by arranging so that the moisture absorbing region 11a and the humidified region 10b will come into contact with each other, the solid polymer fuel cell is constituted so that the exchange of water will be carried out between the humidified region 10 and the moisture absorbing region 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
