PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnosis method of an oil-filled electric apparatus capable of specifying an abnormal part in the oil-filled electric apparatus, and diagnosing concretely an abnormal state. SOLUTION: This abnormality diagnosis method of the oil-filled electric apparatus has characteristics wherein a sample of insulating oil is collected from the oil-filled electric apparatus, and a decomposed component having a low vapor pressure and a high boiling point dissolved in the sample oil is detected, and when some of 1,3-diazine, 1,3-butanediol, 1-methoxy butane, trimethylamine, 2-methoxy ethanol and butanoic acid is detected in the detected decomposed component, it is specified that an insulating material generating the detected decomposed component is an overheated insulating material.
